Our family company’s journey traces back to the 1960s when Father and Mother Hendricks embarked on their inland shipping career. They acquired their first inland vessel, a 300 DWT vessel, marking the inception of our story. After several years of dedicated hard work, Father Piet transitioned from sailing to become a broker for inland vessels. The initial days were quiet, but within months, the business began to thrive as the market expanded.
Together with his wife, Wilma, they infused the family company with a unique charm, providing clients with a deeply personal touch. As we reflect on our history, we look forward to shaping an even brighter future. As son, Peter Hendricks, continued this line of work, we may say he is born into it.
Future
In the year 2000, the family company welcomed the arrival of son Peter into the fold. Since then, the family enterprise has successfully brokered numerous vessels, including dry cargo tankers and more. We also established ourselves as a renowned name in the realm of new construction projects, delivering over 100 vessels turn-key to our valued clients.
